Helping manage G&B’s busy Café is exactly where Nathan Brandon wants to be. “Every day here is different, and I like the challenge of taking things as they come.”
Nathan hails from Evansville, Indiana, where he earned a degree in construction management, got married, had three children and worked as a construction project manager for several years.
“Then we decided we needed a change of pace, so we packed up the kids and came to Colorado in 2022,” Nathan said. “I came here for a visit when I was 20 and fell in love with the mountains and they’ve been calling my name ever since.”
Nathan’s been with G&B since then, working both as a server and in management. “It’s great to come to work with such a great team,” Nathan said. “I think what makes me most excited is that I’m in on the ground floor, learning every day and helping build the reputation of Ginger and Baker. I really like what we provide for the guests, and the business side really excites me as well.”
When not working, Nathan enjoys playing guitar and singing, hiking and hanging out with his wife, Jamie, and kids, Parker, Beauman and Ellie. “I’m spending as much time with the kids as I can while I’ve got them. I’m going to turn around and they’ll be gone,” he said. “Family is so important.”
Nathan’s favorite pie? “Coconut Cream, because it’s the best one!”
