Join us in the Teaching Kitchen for our first fiber arts class with Jaden from JES Creations!
This winter themed crochet craft class will focus on classic crochet foundations that can be transferred to any project. These techniques include: the magic ring, single crochet, chain stitch, and more. While working through these techniques in class, you will walk away with your own finished crochet project, a crochet hook, and extra yarn to continue crocheting on your own when class ends. This class is for beginner to intermediate crocheters. No experience necessary.

Jaden Scott is a fiber artist, metalsmith, dancer, and teacher. After earning a BFA in Fibers and Metalsmithing at CSU, Jaden started their own handcrafted fiber arts business called JES Creations. JES Creations specializes in handwoven goods, such as handbags, pillows, rugs, dice bags, and more, with Jaden weaving and sewing every item themselves. Jaden is a versatile artist; they love weaving, crocheting, sewing, quilting, and teaching.
In class, Jaden emphasizes an encouraging and inclusive environment for the students to learn and be their authentic selves. Jaden loves helping individuals through the creative process to help them achieve their goals.
When Jaden isn’t playing with yarn, you can find them dancing, hanging out with their cat, doing another craft, or curled up with a good book.
