Summer in Portugal

Celebrate the summer solstice in The Teaching Kitchen with Portuguese Petiscos (think tapas!). This fresh, summer-inspired meal is perfect for sharing with friends and family over great drinks and conversation. Bring friends or make new ones here in our kitchen as we create and enjoy this beautiful spread together. 

What we’re cooking:

  • Bacalhau (Salt Cod) with Sweet Corn and Littleneck Clams
  • Heirloom Tomato Salad
  • Pica Pau (“Woodpecker” Beef)
  • Batatas à Murro (Cheesy Smashed Potatoes)
  • Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese Custard Tarts)

Take-aways

  • Hands-on instruction from a Ginger and Baker Chef Instructor.
  • A recipe packet with all the menu items from class.
  • Enjoy a meal of the items you cooked at the end of class.
