Join us in the Teaching Kitchen for an evening of French baking and language learning! Enjoy making and eating some of our favorite classic French treats, while learning basic French pronunciation and vocabulary relevant to the class from our friend Richie at FoCo French.  

What We’re Cooking:

Richie is a Houstonian and CSU alum who found his way to Ginger & Baker after spending 3 years living in Nantes, France where he got his Master’s in Business Management. His passion for language and culture has opened up many doors in his own life and he hopes to be able to pour out that fortune to others, especially those in the local community. Richie has worn many hats since his time at the CSU stomping grounds including: tech marketer, marching band coach, video editor, motion designer, and beer tender, but ultimately teaching is where his heart landed. Now he’s over the moon to be able to share this passion with Fort Collins and beyond by explaining the nuances of the French language in an approachable conversational format. When he’s not doing French things he enjoys long walks with his Chow Chow, Alaïa, hanging out at coffee shops, or planning trips to national parks with his wife Alyssa.
