Keeping the pastry case filled with mouthwatering pastries and pies, dreaming up desserts for The Cache, stocking the Café with fresh-baked biscuits and managing our team of creative bakers is no small feat, but our head baker, Natasha Campbell, has the passion and skills to make it all happen.

“I came to Ginger and Baker three years ago and I said, ‘I’m going to work here someday,’” Natasha recalled. “And here I am!”

Natasha hails from Des Moines, Iowa, and she’s the fourth of thirteen kids (which may explain her mad skills at team management 😉 ) She started working in bakeries when she was fourteen and hasn’t stopped. “What I love about baking is that it makes people happy,” she said. “I always knew it was what I wanted to do.”

She received her AAS Degree in Culinary Arts and her Culinary Arts Diploma from the Iowa Culinary Institute, where she met and married her husband, Justin, who is also a chef. “We moved to Wyoming in 2018 to be near the mountains and to start our family,” she said. “And we now have a beautiful daughter, Adelynn.”

Natasha came on board in the summer of 2021. “What I like about Ginger and Baker is that it’s always a challenge and something different everyday,” she said. “Everyone is friendly and always trying to go one step further in making everything that extra notch of perfect!”

When not working, Natasha loves hiking, camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Her favorite pie? “French Silk. I just love how creamy and rich it is and my favorite part is the chocolate curls on top!”
