SUMMARY:TK: Kid's Cooking Camp - Sushi
DESCRIPTION:Calling all junior chefs: Join us in the Teaching Kitchen as we learn how to make sushi (all fully cooked)!  \nThis class is geared for ages 8-14 years old.  \nWhat We’re Making: \n\nCalifornia Roll\nShrimp Tempura Roll\nDessert Nigiri: Coconut Sticky Rice with Fresh Fruit\n\nTake-Aways: \n\nHands-on instruction by a Ginger and Baker Chef.\nRecipe packet full of all the recipes from class to take home.\nTime to eat and enjoy all the delicious food you’ve cooked at the end of class.\n\nPolicies \n\nTeaching Kitchen Class and In-House Event tickets are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule up to one week before your booked event\, please contact us to transfer your ticket to a different event. Within one week of your class\, we can only offer a transfer if we are able to re-sell the tickets\, as product has already been purchased.  In the case of emergency\, please contact us at (970) 286-0503 or teachingkitchen@gingerandbaker.com and we will do our best to accommodate.\nIf you would like to transfer your tickets to a different guest\, please forward your email confirmation to them and ensure they check in with the name and email address used to purchase the tickets.\nWe reserve the right to cancel due to low attendance\, inclement weather\, or emergency. We will notify all participants by email at least 24 hours prior to the event to let you know of cancellations\, and you will have the option to be refunded to the original payment method\, or to apply your ticket price to another class or event.\nKid’s classes are designed for children aged 8+\, with the ability to work safely and cooperatively with a group of 4-6. There is one chef and one assistant per class\, approximately an 8:1 ratio for supervision. Adults are permitted to accompany their children for additional supervision\, but each guest must have a ticket\, as space is limited.\nA parent or guardian must be present at drop-off to sign a waiver and emergency contact form. Children must be picked up within 15 minutes of the end of class. After 15 minutes the parent/guardian on file will be contacted and Ginger and Baker reserves the right to charge $1 per minute for late pickup after the 15-minute grace period.

We cannot accommodate requests to work in groups of less than 4.\nA server will be available in the room to order food and drinks from our Café menu. For guests 21+ with proper photo ID\, drinks are available during class from our Café bar.\nThis class is intended for adults\, ages 18+. Guests aged 14-18 may be admitted if accompanied by an adult and with permission from the Teaching Kitchen Coordinator to if the class is appropriate for participants under 18.
