SUMMARY:TK: Winter Crochet with JES Creations
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Teaching Kitchen for our first fiber arts class with Jaden from JES Creations!   \n  \nThis winter themed crochet craft class will focus on classic crochet foundations that can be transferred to any project. These techniques include: the magic ring\, single crochet\, chain stitch\, and more. While working through these techniques in class\, you will walk away with your own finished crochet projects (a snowflake and 3D plush snowman)\, a crochet hook\, and extra yarn to continue crocheting on your own when class ends. This class is for beginner to intermediate crocheters. No experience necessary.  \n  \n \nJaden Scott is a fiber artist\, metalsmith\, dancer\, and teacher. After earning a BFA in Fibers and Metalsmithing at CSU\, Jaden started their own handcrafted fiber arts business called JES Creations. JES Creations specializes in handwoven goods\, such as handbags\, pillows\, rugs\, dice bags\, and more\, with Jaden weaving and sewing every item themselves. Jaden is a versatile artist; they love weaving\, crocheting\, sewing\, quilting\, and teaching.\n\nIn class\, Jaden emphasizes an encouraging and inclusive environment for the students to learn and be their authentic selves. If you need to reschedule up to one week before your booked event\, please contact us to transfer your ticket to a different event. Within one week of your class\, we can only offer a transfer if we are able to re-sell the tickets\, as product has already been purchased.  In the case of emergency\, please contact us at (970) 286-0503 or teachingkitchen@gingerandbaker.com and we will do our best to accommodate.\nIf you would like to transfer your tickets to a different guest\, please forward your email confirmation to them and ensure they check in with the name and email address used to purchase the tickets.\nWe reserve the right to cancel due to low attendance\, inclement weather\, or emergency. We will notify all participants by email at least 24 hours prior to the event to let you know of cancellations\, and you will have the option to be refunded to the original payment method\, or to apply your ticket price to another class or event.\nPlease let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate but may not be able to change certain menu items.\nWe request that participants wear comfortable\, closed-toe shoes\, hair pulled back\, and clothes they don’t mind getting a little messy.  If you wish to sit with a certain person or group\, please note the names of your other party members in the appropriate field at checkout. Guests will be seated in groups of 4-6\, parties will be combined. We cannot accommodate requests to work in groups of less than 4.\nA server will be available in the room to order food and drinks from our Café menu. For guests 21+ with proper photo ID\, drinks are available during class from our Café bar.\nThis class is intended for adults\, ages 13+.

SUMMARY:Rooftop: Wine Tasting - Down Under
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided wine tasting on The Rooftop! Our sommelier\, Christian McClure\, will guide you through a tasting of the wines of Australia and New Zealand. Learn about the region\, the climate\, how to taste the wines\, and why these wines taste the way they do! Food will be available to purchase from The Cache food menu\, with suggested pairings from Christian\, and additional wine will also be available for purchase if you find your new favorite! Price includes a tasting of six 3oz pours of wine\, a mix of white\, red\, rosé\, or sparkling.  \n \nSeating will be community-style and first come\, first served in our Rooftop. Most tables are high-tops. The Cache menu will be available for snacks or dinner throughout the tasting. \nThis event is for guests 21+\, a valid photo ID is required for entry.
