Whiskey of the Wild West

Ginger and Baker is excited to welcome Cody and Whiskey Business as we feature this unique whiskey tasting experience. Take a step back with some of the whiskey and bourbon from the wild west, in a glimpse of where it all started. The history of whiskey is filled with folklore, old wives’ tales along with fascinating truths. This is a one of a kind whiskey tasting adventure sure to leave you with great stories and an even more sophisticated whiskey palate. Included with the class will be some tasty appetizers and delicious desserts to round out your experience with us here in the Teaching Kitchen.

A Colorado native, Cody is the owner of Whiskey Business. She provides not only a first class tasting, but also a sensory adventure that will expand your knowledge to a whole different level. Cody earned the Master Taster title while training with some of the top whiskey minds in both Colorado and Kentucky. Her passion started at a very young age when her grandpa taught her how to distill moonshine in his basement. Years later, she found a mentor with the legendary Stanley Hotel bar manager and began her training. As of today, she continues to lead Whiskey tasting throughout Colorado, sharing her knowledge and her excitement with novice and experienced drinkers alike.
