Join Chef Deb Traylor as she guides you through the sweet-side of our kitchen and introduces our first Tart and Galette course. In this 3 hour class, you will have hands on experience making 3 sweet treats, including a lemon curd tart, a rustic apple galette, and a fresh fruit tart topped with creme patissiere. While crafting your delectable creations, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or beer from our bar (additional beverages and food are available to purchase throughout the class.) At the conclusion of the class, you will have some time to sit and savor your tarts and galettes, and take home with you any leftovers and the recipes and instructions for how to recreate these dessert classics from scratch, in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Participants must be 21+ with photo ID. We request that participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Please let us know if you would like to sit with a certain person or group. Registration closes at 5pm the day before the event. While this class does include some light snacking during the class, no full meal is provided. We recommend eating before class or taking advantage of ordering from our full Cafe menu.

The cancellation policy for the Teaching Kitchen at Ginger and Baker allows for a full refund within 24 hours of a purchase and a partial refund up to one week  before your scheduled class. Once within one week of your class, we no longer can offer refunds for cancellations, but can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
