Join us here in the teaching kitchen as we dive into the saucier-side of culinary basics: sauces! The class is focused on 5 core sauces that are sure to enhance and complete your dishes, raising them to the next level of deliciousness. Ginger and Baker’s Culinary Director will take you step by step through these delicious additions and talk about their pairing partners, and show you how to prepare and perfect hollandaise, vinaigrette, chimichurri, aioli, and demi-glace. While you’re simmering and stirring, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or beer from our bar (additional beverages and food are available to purchase throughout the class.) Take home with you your sauces and recipes and instructions for how to recreate these culinary core items from scratch, in the comfort of your own kitchen.
Participants must be 21+ with photo ID. We request that participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Please let us know if you would like to sit with a certain person or group. Registration closes at 5pm the day before the event. While this class does include some light snacking during the class, no full meal is provided. We recommend eating before class or taking advantage of ordering from our full Cafe menu.
The cancellation policy for the Teaching Kitchen at Ginger and Baker allows for a full refund within 24 hours of a purchase and a partial refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled class. Once within 48 hours of your class, we no longer can offer refunds for cancellations, but can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
