Join us here at the Teaching Kitchen to celebrate “Pi Day” …by making pie, of course! Pie is the heart of who we are, and there is nothing we like celebrating more! In this fun and hands-on class experience, you will be guided by Ginger and Baker’s Culinary Director Chef Deb Traylor as she introduces you to some of her favorite pies. During the 3 hours you spend with us, you’ll mix, roll, shape and fill while chatting with Chef Deb and your classmates about your own special “pie stories.” Included with the class is a complimentary glass of wine or beer from our bar (additional beverages and food are available to purchase throughout the class.) Take home with you your completed pies and recipes and instructions for how to recreate these favorites from scratch, in the comfort of your own kitchen.
Participants must be 21+ with photo ID. We request that participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Please let us know if you would like to sit with a certain person or group. Registration closes at 5pm the day before the event. While this class does include some light snacking during the class, no full meal is provided. We recommend eating before class or taking advantage of ordering from our full Cafe menu.
The cancellation policy for the Teaching Kitchen at Ginger and Baker allows for a full refund within 24 hours of a purchase and a partial refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled class. Once within 48 hours of your class, we no longer can offer refunds for cancellations, but can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
