Intro to Crochet – Bows and Koozies
This part bow, part koozie project will introduce some basic crochet techniques while teaching chain stitch, single crochet stitch, working flat and working in the round – so it will suit all levels of crochet skills! Join us as we craft and chat, and learn/improve a new skill that you are sure to use the rest of your life.
Our guest instructor, Sara Dudek, learned to crochet just up the road at Lambspun of Colorado when she was eight years old. Since then she has started her own crochet design business, contributed to two crochet books, and designed for Krochet Kids International (a non-profit that sells crochet items made by women in Uganda). She earned her masters degree in apparel design from Colorado State University and now works as the editor for Interweave Crochet magazine. We are thrilled to welcome her to Ginger and Baker, and know she will inspire the same love and appreciation for crochet in you as she has in us.
Please bring your own yarn for this class, in your preferred color. Yarn type will be discussed in your confirmation email. If you need assistance purchasing your yarn, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help! All other supplies will be provided by Ginger and Baker.
