Ginger and Baker Book Club
Join Ginger and the team as we discuss this month’s food themed book,
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life
by Barbara Kingsolver
Author Barbara Kingsolver and her family abandoned the industrial-food pipeline to live a rural life—vowing that, for one year, they’d only buy food raised in their own neighborhood, grow it themselves, or learn to live without it. Part memoir, part journalistic investigation, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle is an enthralling narrative that will open your eyes in a hundred new ways to an old truth: You are what you eat.
Join us on the North Patio, for social distanced book club fun this month. Please note- we have changed to Tuesdays to fit with our current opening hours, to enable us to provide you with the Ginger and Baker book club experience we love to provide.
Food and drink will be available for purchase during the event and a complimentary snack from the book will be served. Visit Old Fire House Books in Old Town Fort Collins to purchase your book. Book purchases at Old Fire House Books the month before or month of book club receive a 20% discount for being a part of the Ginger and Baker Book Club.
*Book Club is a free event. No ticket is necessary but RSVP’s help us keep this event safe and socially distanced.
