Join Ginger and Baker’s Culinary Director, Chef Deb Traylor, as she takes you on a delectable journey of East and South Asian Dumplings. In this three hour class, you will get hands-on experience and guidance as you roll, stuff, and shape this tiny bundles of deliciousness. Learn how to make your own wrappers, prepare different fillings, and how to steam and fry. Paired with dipping sauces and armed with chopsticks, you’ll nosh and nibble the night away while enjoying 1 complimentary glass of wine or beer from our bar (additional beverages and food are available to purchase throughout the class.) Take home with you any leftovers and extras from your assembly-session and recipes and instructions for how to recreate these hot pockets from scratch, in the comfort of your own kitchen.
Participants must be 21+ with photo ID. We request that participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Please let us know if you would like to sit with a certain person or group. Registration closes at 5pm the day before the event. While this class does include some light snacking during the class, no full meal is provided. We recommend eating before class or taking advantage of ordering from our full Cafe menu.
The cancellation policy for the Teaching Kitchen at Ginger and Baker allows for a full refund within 24 hours of a purchase and a partial refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled class. Once within 48 hours of your class, we no longer can offer refunds for cancellations, but can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
