Join us in the Wine Cellar as we celebrate the wines of Daniele Conterno with a fabulous pairing dinner.

Daniele, the fourth generation of producers from Piedmont Italy’s renowned Conterno Winery, will be on hand to share tasting and history notes. Our culinary team will pair Conterno wines with a five-course menu featuring local and seasonal ingredients.

Featured wines will include Conterno’s Barbera, Langhe Nebbiolo, DOCG Barolo, Barolo Panerole and Barolo Bussia.

About Daniele Conterno

Daniele represents the fourth generation of producers at Conterno Vineyards. It all started with his great-grandfather, Pietro Conterno, and 18 hectares of land, then passed to his legendary grandfather, Giacomo, then on to his father, Franco who still works with the vineyards every day.

Daniele grew up working and playing in the vineyards with his brother Andre. He tries to express what his wines mean for him in every bottle. For Daniele, wine is a natural product that reflects what is in the earth, what is in his land, and what is in the history of his family. 

“I really love the traditional way of producing wines, but I am always keeping an eye on what is new, and experimenting to push the level of what is possible while respecting my father and grandfather’s wishes,” said Daniele.

In 2005, Franco Conterno made the decision to become certified organic. Daniele and his brother embraced that idea and are excited about this new project. Having his own wines with the full blessing of his father Franco, Daniele is excited for his sons to continue the long tradition.

The cancellation policy for pairing dinners at Ginger and Baker allows for a full refund within 24 hours of a purchase, and a partial refund up to one week before your scheduled event. Within one week of your event, we can no longer offer refunds for cancellations, but can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
