As The Cache Lead Greeter, you create the first impression with each guest and set the stage for their experience in the restaurant. You are responsible for welcoming our guests and escorting them to their seats for dining with continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You are serving the Ginger and Baker brand and will always be working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards of AAA 4/5 diamond restaurant service goals.
This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances. As the shift leader, you will be expected to work with Team Members and Guests to ensure satisfaction. You will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving challenges and involve the Cache Manager/GM when previous methods have been unsuccessful. Behaves ethically. Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language to communicate with guests, interpret event documents, and conduct employee meetings. Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four-diamond restaurant Ability to effectively cope with change, handle risk and uncertainty comfortably, ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice while being composed under pressure. Doesn’t show frustration when dealing with upset guests or team members. Relates well to all kinds of people – up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
Must have TIPS and County required certifications.
